When someone does a search on the internet they will normally always use a search engine, google ect.
to search for what they are looking for.The search engine (google,bing,ect) will then scan it's database for the words you are looking for,and display the listings on the results page.
These words are usually known as keywords or search terms.As you may know if you search for one word you will get probably thousands of pages in the results that don't even match what you are looking for,to fine tune your search you will wan't to use a number of words or phrases.
Why Are They Needed
Keywords are very important as they
can be used with the search engines to provide you with a free source of TARGETED TRAFFIC to your website.They enable people who are looking for your product,service or information to find you/your website on the internet.
What Keywords Do I Use
To determine what keywords are relevant to your site you will need to put yourself in the shoes of your potential customers,Think of what THEY would type in a search bar,If your site is about holidays for example then good keywords would be flights,hotels,cheap holidays, ect.So these would all be good keywords to have.Many websites have thousands of keywords and that is what the keyword generator will do for your site.simply add a description of your site and it will generate keywords for it.
